•  i-ACTIVSENSE status symbol turns on in white or green but LDWS does not operate.
Possible cause
•  Insufficient headlight brightness
―  Front combination light malfunction
―  Front combination light optical axis deviation
―  Dirt on area around front combination light
•  Water droplets, condensation, or dirt on area around forward sensing camera (FSC)
•  Personalization feature not set
•  Forward sensing camera (FSC) malfunction

Repair the malfunctioning location according to the applicable DTC troubleshooting.

•  Does the applicable malfunction occur only at nighttime?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Go to Step 4.

VERIFY FRONT COMBINATION LIGHT CONDITION
•  Visually verify the applicable part.
•  Do any of the following apply?
―  Front combination light malfunction
―  Front combination light optical axis deviation
―  Dirt on area around front combination light
Yes
Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY CONDITION AROUND FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC)
•  Visually verify the applicable part.
•  Are there any water droplets, condensation, or dirt?
Yes
Repair or replace the malfunctioning location and perform the repair completion verification.
No
Go to the next step.

VERIFY PERSONALIZATION FEATURES SETTING
•  Verify the lane-keep assist system status using the personalization features.
•  Has the lane-keep assist system been turned off?
Yes
Complete the symptom troubleshooting. (Explain the system operation conditions to the customer.)
No
Go to the next step.
Repair completion verification
VERIFY THAT VEHICLE IS REPAIRED
•  Install/connect the part removed/disconnected during the troubleshooting procedure.
•  Has the malfunction symptom been eliminated?
Yes
Complete the symptom troubleshooting. (Explain contents of repair to customer)
No
Refer to the controller area network (CAN) malfunction diagnosis flow to inspect for a CAN communication error.
If the CAN communication is normal, perform the diagnosis from Step 1.
•  If the malfunction is not resolved, replace the forward sensing camera (FSC).
