ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD) TEST MODES

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).

3.  Perform the following procedure using the M-MDS.

1.  Press [Start] for the vehicle identification.

2.  Press the [Toolbox] tab.

3.  Press the [Diagnosis] icon.

4.  Press [OBD Test modes].

5.  Press [Run] for the applicable [M-MDS display name] from the OBD test modes table. (See OBD Test Modes Table.)

4.  If the [Mode 1 Powertrain Data] is selected, select [***SUP] (with/without support for each system monitor) and [***RDY] (each system monitor completed) on the PID/data monitor item selection screen.

5.  Verify the results of each test according to directions on the screen.
