POSSIBLE CAUSE

i-stop component parts malfunction

•  PCM detects malfunction in i-stop component part.

•  Battery malfunction (deterioration)

―  Main battery voltage decreases.

―  Sub battery voltage decreases.

•  Slight over-discharge of main battery

Number of times i-stop function operates exceeds assured operation amount of components

•  Starter operation amount exceeds limit

•  Number of times cranking using the sub battery exceed limit

•  Number of times engine restart exceed limit

Diagnostic procedure

STEP	INSPECTION	RESULTS	ACTION
1	INSPECT DTCs Retrieve the PCM and instrument cluster DTCs using the M-MDS. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].) (See DTC INSPECTION [INSTRUMENT CLUSTER].) Are any DTCs present?	Yes	Is DTC P0B25:00 displayed? • If DTC P0B25:00 is displayed, repair the malfunctioning part according to the corresponding DTC inspection. (See DTC P0B25:00 [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].) • If DTC P0B25:00 is not displayed, repair the malfunctioning part according to the corresponding DTC inspection. (See DTC TABLE [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)
