PISTON, PISTON RING, PISTON PIN CONSTRUCTION [L3 Turbo]
id0110b3100600
• The piston head has a concave recess to accommodate the turbocharger.
• The pistons are made of aluminium alloy, which withstands heat.
• The offset pistons are used to reduce piston-slapping noise.
• To prevent the piston from being reassembled in the wrong direction, the front mark (←) is located on the top of the piston.
• The piston has valve recesses on the intake side.
• A bushing is installed on the small end of the connecting rod for a full-floating connection of the piston, piston pin, and connecting rod.

• The piston pin is made of chrome steel alloy, which has superior rigidity.
• The construction of the piston skirt is asymmetric on the left and right side to prevent interference between the piston and oil jet.
• The following piston rings have been adopted: Inner bevel ring for the top ring, a taper under cut ring for the second ring, two-piece ring for the oil ring.
