THROTTLE BODY INSPECTION [LF, L5]

Resistance Inspection

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L5].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3.  Disconnect the throttle body connector.

4.  Measure the resistance between throttle body terminals E and F.

Throttle body resistance
0.3—100 ohms [20°C {68 °F}]
•  If not as specified, replace the throttle body. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L5].)
