VARIABLE TUMBLE SHUTTER VALVE ACTUATOR INSPECTION [ZY, Z6]

Operation inspection

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ZY, Z6].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

3.  Remove the variable tumble shutter valve actuator. (See VARIABLE TUMBLE SHUTTER VALVE ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ZY, Z6].)

4.  Connect the battery positive voltage to terminal A or B, and verify that the gear moves.

A	B
B+	Ground	Clockwise
Ground	B+	Counterclockwise

•  If there is any malfunction, replace the variable tumble shutter valve actuator. (See VARIABLE TUMBLE SHUTTER VALVE ACTUATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ZY, Z6].)
