Integrated rollover valve

Note

•  The check valve (two-way) cannot be disassembled and inspected as it is built into the rollover valve.

1.  Perform the fuel tank inspection. (See FUEL TANK INSPECTION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

•  If malfunction, replace the fuel tank. (See FUEL TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

Integrated evaporative hose

Note

•  The check valve (two-way) cannot be removed as a single unit. When replacing the check valve (two-way), replace it together with the evaporative hose as a single unit.

1.   Remove the evaporative hose with the check valve (two-way). (See FUEL TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.0 DISI i-stop].)

2.  Apply pressure port A and verify that there is airflow.

•  If there is no airflow, replace the evaporative hose with the check valve (two-way).

3.  Apply negative pressure to port A and verify that there is airflow with a vacuum of 0.9 kPa or more.

•  Replace the evaporative hose with the check valve (two-way) in the following cases:

―  There is no airflow with vacuum of 0.9 kPa or more

―  There is airflow with vacuum of less than 0.9 kPa
