Operation

• In the cooling-down period, the EGR gas avoids the EGR cooler side aisle in order to inhibit the deterioration of CO and HC caused by over cooled EGR gas.

• In the warming-up period, the EGR gas passes through the EGR cooler side aisle to cut down on NO_X.
