EGR CONTROL OPERATION [MZR-CD 2.2]

id0140f2171600

•  The PCM calculates the necessary EGR amount and oxygen concentration based on the input signal, and operates the EGR valve (DC motor) to meet the target value.
•  The EGR amount is determined by the difference between the following values:
―  Target intake air amount calculated from engine speed and fuel injection amount.
―  Actual intake air amount detected by MAF/IAT sensor.
•  Oxygen concentration is determined by the difference between the following values:
―  Target intake air amount calculated from engine speed and fuel injection amount.
―  Actual intake air amount detected by MAF/IAT sensor, IAT sensor No.2, boost sensor, and A/F sensor.
