•  A CKP sensor with a hall element has been adopted, and it consists of an integrated circuit and magnet.

•  The crankshaft pulley does not have a projection. Instead, the crankshaft pulley itself has a magnet. The CKP sensor detects the lines of magnetic force generated by the crankshaft pulley and converts them to rectangular waves. The PCM then detects the rectangular waves to determine the engine rotation.
