FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6) (EURO4 emission level)]

Visual Inspection

1.  Remove the fuel temperature sensor. (See FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6) (EURO4 emission level)].)

2.  Verify that there are no metal shavings on the sensor.

3.  Visually inspect the fuel temperature sensor for the following:

•  Damage

•  Cracks

•  Rusted sensor terminal

•  Bent sensor terminal

―  If there is any malfunction, replace the fuel temperature sensor.

4.  Install the fuel temperature sensor. (See FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6) (EURO4 emission level)].)
