Caution

• Water penetrating the connector will cause sensor malfunction. To prevent this, be careful not to damage the wiring harnesses or the waterproof connector so as to cause water penetration.

Voltage Inspection

1. Switch the ignition ON.

2. Measure the voltage between EGR throttle valve position sensor terminal A and body ground.

• If it is not as specified, replace the air bypass valve and EGR throttle valve component.

Resistance Inspection

1. Disconnect the EGR throttle valve connector.
