EXHAUST GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR INSPECTION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6) (EURO5 emission level)]

Visual Inspection

1.  Remove the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

2.  Verify that there are no metal shavings on the sensor.

3.  Visually inspect the exhaust gas temperature sensor for the following:

•  Damage

•  Cracks

•  Rusted sensor terminal

•  Bent sensor terminal

―  If there is any malfunction, replace the exhaust gas temperature sensor.

4.  Install the exhaust gas temperature sensor.
