DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR INSPECTION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6) (EURO5 emission level)]

Visual Inspection

1.  Remove the diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor. (See DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6) (EURO5 emission level)].)

2.  Verify that there are no metal shavings on the sensor.

3.  Visually inspect the diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor for the following:

•  Damage

•  Cracks

•  Rusted sensor terminal

•  Bent sensor terminal

―  If there is any malfunction, replace the diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor.

4.  Install the diesel particulate filter differential pressure sensor. (See DIESEL PARTICULATE FILTER DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6) (EURO5 emission level)].)
