VACUUM HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2]

1.  Remove the battery and battery tray. (L.H.D.) (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

2.  Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR-CD 2.2].)

3.  Pinch open the clip using pliers and disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pipe.

4.  Remove the vacuum hose from the vacuum hose clip. (L.H.D.)

5.  Remove the vacuum hose from the vacuum hose clip. (R.H.D.)

6.  Move the vacuum hose as shown in the figure. (L.H.D.)

7.  Disconnect the vacuum hose connector from the power brake unit while pressing the tabs of the vacuum hose connector.

8.  Remove the vacuum hose.

9.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

10.  Verify that the vacuum hose is inserted so that the connector contacts the power brake unit flange.
