• The powertrain mechanism consists of four pairs of clutches, band brake, two pairs of brakes, two pairs of one-way clutches, and three pairs of single type planetary gears.

•  Locks rotation of the reverse drum and fixes the rear sun gear.

•  Fixes the rotation of the front internal gear.

Reduction brake

•  Fixes the rotation of the secondary sun gear.

•  Locks the counterclockwise rotation of the front internal gear.

One-way clutch No.2

•  Locks the counterclockwise rotation of the secondary sun gear.
(Directions of rotation is viewed from the torque converter.)
