1.  Disconnect the steering switch connector. (See STEERING SWITCH REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

2.  Inspect the continuity/resistance between the steering switch terminals J and P.

1.  Inspect the continuity as indicated in the table.

1.  Inspect the resistance as indicated in the table.
