•  The shift-lock system prevents the selector lever from being shifted out of Park unless the brake pedal is depressed when the ignition switch is turned to the ACC or ON position.

•  The shift-lock can be released manually by inserting a flathead screwdriver into the shift-lock release hole.

•  Mainly consists of the shift-lock solenoid, brake switch, and P position switch.
