•  The CVT fluid level adjustment mode is used for adjusting the CVT fluid level.
•  While switching to the CVT fluid level adjustment mode, the P position display of the selector indicator light flashes according to the CVT fluid temperature.

CVT fluid temperature

Selector indicator light (P position display) flashing pattern

High temperature
(45 °C {113 °F} or more)
Appropriate temperature
(between 35 °C {95 °F} and under 45 °C {113 °F})
Low temperature
(less than 35 °C {95 °F})

•  While switching to the CVT fluid level adjustment mode, if the CVT fluid is around the appropriate temperature (between 35 °C {95 °F} and under 45 °C {113 °F}), the TCM performs the idle increase control automatically.
•  Verify the CVT fluid level when the CVT fluid temperature is at the appropriate temperature.
•  Verify the CVT fluid temperature using the M-MDS or the selector indicator light (P position display) flashing pattern.
•  Refer to the Workshop Manual for switching the CVT fluid level adjustment mode.
•  If the engine is stopped, the accelerator pedal is depressed, or the vehicle speed is detected, the CVT fluid level adjustment mode is cancelled.
