Forward clutch
• The forward clutch transmits drive force from the input shaft to the planetary gear via the wet-type multi-plate clutch which engages during forward acceleration.
Reverse brake
• The reverse brake fixes the rotation of the internal gear via the wet-type multi-plate clutch which engages when the vehicle is put in reverse.
Planetary gear
• A ravigneaux-type planetary gear has been adopted which switches the drive force and rotation direction transmitted to the stepless shift mechanism by the engagement of the forward clutch and reverse brake.
