id051901290900
• The TCM sends a gear position signal to the instrument cluster via CAN based on the signal from M range switch.
• When the driver‘s down-shift operation is cancelled, the gear position indicator light flash twice to alert the driver of a down-shift cancellation.
• If the CVT fluid temperature reaches 120 °C {248 °F} or more while driving in manual shift mode, the gear position indicator light turns off and the TCM switches to automatic shift mode to reduce load on the CVT. After the CVT fluid temperature decreases to 110 °C {230 °F} or less and a period of time has passed, the gear position indicator light turns back on and driving in manual shift mode is restored.
