Key Interlock Operation (When not in P Position)
• The key interlock solenoid is energized when the selector lever is in a position other than P.
• When the key interlock solenoid is energized, the stopper is pressed outward to the position where it restricts the cam movement.
• As a result, the ignition cannot be switched to LOCK.
Key Interlock Release (When in P Position)
• The key interlock solenoid is not energized when the selector lever is in the P position.
• When the key interlock solenoid is not energized, the stopper is pressed back to the position where it does not restrict the cam movement.
• As a result, the ignition can be switched to LOCK.
