Display Function

Audio system display

• Information related to the audio system such as sound volume and radio frequency are displayed based on signals from the audio unit.

Air conditioner system display

• Information related to the air conditioning system such as airflow volume, temperature setting, and mode are displayed based on signals from the climate control system.

Ambient temperature display

• Ambient temperature is displayed based on ambient temperature signals detected by the ambient temperature sensor.

Clock display

• Display switching and settings are performed by operating the clock switch.

Welcome mode display

• If a welcome mode illumination signal is received from the instrument cluster, "Zoom-Zoom" is displayed on the audio display after approx. 1.8 s have elapsed.

• "Zoom-Zoom" is fully displayed and remains illuminated until a welcome illumination-off signal is received from the instrument cluster.

Input/output Check Function

• An input/output check function has been adopted which performs signal input to the display and examines the LCD according to the microcomputer built into the information display.

Check code

• When the signal output part indicated in the table below is activated, the micro-computer performs self-diagnosis of the signal input to the information display. Also, inspection of segments and dots is possible by illuminating the entire LCD.
