•  Information related to the air conditioning system such as airflow volume, temperature setting, and mode are displayed in display 1 based on signals from the climate control system.

Warning indicator display

•  The following warning indicator displays are displayed in conjunction with the vehicle conditions.

•  Press push button start when ignition switch is off.
•  Driver's side door (driver's door latch switch: OFF) is open and ignition is switched to ACC or ON.
•  Any door or liftgate (door latch switch: OFF, liftgate latch switch: ON) is open and ignition is switched to ACC or ON, and all doors and liftgate (door latch switch: ON, liftgate latch switch: OFF) are closed.

STEERING WHEEL LOCK NOT RELEASED TURN WHEEL LEFT AND RIGHT

•  Auxiliary key is removed from key cylinder when ignition is at a position other than OFF.
•  Selector lever is at a position other than P.
•  Advanced key cannot be detected in vehicle.

Displays when all of the following conditions are met:
•  Selector lever is in P position.
•  Push button start is pressed with brake pedal not depressed.
DEPRESS CLUTCH PEDAL TO START ENGINE (MTX)
Displays when push button start is pressed with clutch pedal not depressed.

Displays when ambient temperature is 4 degrees C or less.

KEY BATTERY IS LOW
Keyless control module
Displays when all of the following conditions are met:
•  Ignition is switched from ON to OFF.
•  Keyless control module receives a low battery voltage signal sent from advanced key.


Maintenance monitor display

•  Prior or post notifications are displayed when vehicle tire rotation and periodic maintenance periods have been set.
•  When the multi information display notification setting is turned on, the following notifications are displayed.
•  If there are notification displays, each is displayed for 5 s after the ignition is switched ON.
•  Pressing the ENTER switch on steering wheel during a notification display will cancel it. Unless the notification display has been cleared, it will display each time the ignition is switched ON.

Ambient temperature display

•  Ambient temperature is displayed based on ambient temperature signals detected by the ambient temperature sensor.

Clock display

•  Display switching and settings are performed by operating the clock switch.

Welcome mode display

•  If a welcome mode illumination signal is received from the instrument cluster, "Zoom-Zoom" is displayed on the audio display after approx. 1.8 s have elapsed.

•  "Zoom-Zoom" is fully displayed and remains illuminated until a welcome illumination-off signal is received from the instrument cluster.


Input/output check function

•  An input/output check function has been adopted which performs signal input to the display and examines the LCD according to the microcomputer built into the multi information display.
Check code
•  When the signal output part indicated in the table below is activated, the micro-computer performs self-diagnosis of the signal input to the multi information display. Also, inspection of segments and dots is possible by illuminating the entire LCD.
