Installation Procedure

Shallow tire well type

1.  Drill the 6 locations indicated by (A) shown in the figure.

2.  Separate the lower anchor where joined using a chisel or similar tool and bend upwards to facilitate installation.

3.  Apply spot sealer to the areas where both the overlapping ends of the new and existing parts will be welded.Fillet weld along the seams of the lower anchor, and new and existing parts at the locations indicated by (B).

Note

•  Create a flange with flanging tool where new and existing parts are joined.

4.  Plug weld the 101 locations indicated by (C) shown in the figure.

5.  Plug weld the 6 locations indicated by (D) shown in the figure while install the rear floor pan.

6.  Plug weld the 2 locations indicated by (E) shown in the figure while install the spare wheel bracket.

Deep tire well type

1.  Drill the 12 locations indicated by (A) shown in the figure.

2.  Separate the lower anchor where joined using a chisel or similar tool and bend upwards to facilitate installation.

3.  Apply spot sealer to the areas where both the overlapping ends of the new and existing parts will be welded.Fillet weld along the seams of the lower anchor, and new and existing parts at the locations indicated by (B).

Note

•  Create a flange with flanging tool where new and existing parts are joined.

4.  Plug weld the 89 locations indicated by (C) shown in the figure.

5.  Plug weld the 12 locations indicated by (D) shown in the figure while install the rear floor pan.

6.  Plug weld the 2 locations indicated by (E) shown in the figure while install the spare wheel bracket.
