Crankshaft Pulley Disassembly Note

1.  Hold the crankshaft using the SST.

2.  Remove the crankshaft pulley lock bolt.

Timing Belt, Timing Belt Auto Tensioner Disassembly Note

1.  Turn the crankshaft clockwise and align the timing marks as shown.

Caution
•  The following will damage the belt and shorten its life; forcefully twisting it, turning it inside out, or allowing oil or grease on it.
•  After removing the timing belt, do not move the crankshaft or the camshaft pulley or both from this position because it can cause the valve and piston to contact.

2.  Remove the timing belt auto tensioner.

3.  Mark the timing belt rotation on the belt for proper reinstallation.

Supply Pump Pulley Disassembly Note

1.  Verify that timing marks are correctly aligned.

Caution
•  Do not fully tighten the anti-rotation bolt to prevent damage to the supply pump bracket and supply pump pulley.

2.  Hold the supply pump pulley using the SST and remove the supply pump pulley lock nut.

3.  Separate the supply pump pulley from the supply pump shaft using the SST.

Timing Belt Pulley Disassembly Note

1.  Hold the crankshaft using the SST.

2.   Remove the timing belt pulley lock bolt.

1.  Hold the camshaft using the SST.

2.  Remove the drive gear lock bolt.
