EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3]

1.  Remove the plug hole plate. (See PLUG HOLE PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3].)

2.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3].)

3.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

4.  Disconnect the EGR valve connector.

5.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

Water Hose Removal Note

1.  Drain the engine coolant from the radiator. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [LF, L3].)

EGR Valve Removal Note

1.  Remove the air hose. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3].)

2.  Remove the radiator hose (upper, engine side). (See RADIATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [LF, L3].)
