•  The instrument cluster detects the signal when the clutch pedal is operated. The signal is then output as a load signal to the PCM through the CAN from the instrument cluster.

•  When the clutch pedal is depressed, the contact closes (on) and the PCM detects a voltage of 1.0 V or less. When the clutch pedal is not depressed, the contact opens (off) and the PCM detects a voltage of B+.
