•  The fuel additive control module is located under the rear right seat.
•  It is connected over the interface with the fuel additive pump unit, the fuel-filler switch, the PCM and the instrument cluster.
•  The fuel additive control module controls the time of injection and the amount of fuel additive to be injected into the fuel tank. It stores DTCs in the fuel additive system and reports them to the PCM.
•  To initiate and meter the additive injection process, the fuel additive control module uses the following signals:
―  Fuel-filler switch open/closed
―  Engine speed from the PCM
―  Vehicle speed from the PCM
―  Fuel fill level from the instrument cluster
―  Additive fill level from the fuel additive level sensor
―  Reference signal from the fuel additive level sensor
