VACUUM LINE INSPECTION [ZJ, ZY, Z6, LF, L3, L3 Turbo]

1.  Remove the vacuum hose. (See VACUUM HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ZJ, ZY, Z6, LF, L3, L3 Turbo].)

2.  Remove the check valve connector from the power brake unit. (R.H.D. L3 Turbo)

3.  Verify that air can be blown from the power brake unit side of the vacuum hose (except R.H.D. L3 Turbo) or the check valve connector (R.H.D. L3 Turbo) towards the intake manifold side, and that air cannot be blown in the opposite direction.

•  If there is any malfunction of the inner check valve, replace it together with the vacuum hose (except R.H.D. L3 Turbo) or the check valve connector (R.H.D. L3 Turbo) as a single unit.
