VACUUM HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6), MZR-CD (RF Turbo)]

1.  Disconnect the vacuum hose connector from the power brake unit while pressing the tabs of the vacuum hose connector.

2.  Disconnect the vacuum hose connector from the vacuum pump while pressing the tabs of the vacuum hose connector. (MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6))

3.  Pinch open the clip using pliers and disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump. (MZR-CD (RF Turbo))

4.  Remove the vacuum hose.

5.  Install in the reverse order of removal.

6.  Insert the vacuum hose connector to the vacuum pump. (MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6))

7.  Verify that the vacuum hose is firmly installed by pulling it, and push it into the vacuum pump again. (MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6))

8.  Verify that the vacuum hose is inserted so that the connector contacts the power brake unit flange.
