ELECTRIC POWER STEERING OIL PUMP COMPONENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [ZY, LF, L3, MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)]

1. Remove the under cover, splash shield (RH) and mudguard (RH).
2. Remove the washer tank. (Vehicles with the headlight cleaner) (See WASHER TANK REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3. For MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6) engine, remove the A/C accumulator from the electric power steering oil pump bracket.
4. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Connector Removal Note
1. Before disconnecting the connector, clean the connector with a brush or cloth to remove foreign matter.
2. Disconnect the connector.
3. After removing the connector, install the cap included in the new pump kit package being careful that fluid or foreign matter does not penetrate the connector area of the control module.
