ORIFICE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION[MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)]

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2.  Discharge the refrigerant from system. (See REFRIGERANT CHARGING[MZ-CD 1.6 (Y6)].)

3.  Disconnect cooler pipe No.2 from cooler pipe No.1.

4.  Disconnect cooler pipe No.2 from the A/C unit.

5.  Remove the orifice using the SST. (See Orifice Removal Note.)

6.  Apply compressor oil to a new orifice.

7.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

Orifice Removal Note

1.  Align the SST notch in the direction of the orifice and insert it into cooler pipe No.2.

2.  Rotate the SST clockwise to lock the SST and orifice projection.

3.  Rotate the SST lever.

•  Rotate until the orifice is expelled.

4.  Pull out the SST together with the orifice from cooler pipe No.2.
