• The following parts are built into the latch and lock actuators of each door and liftgate:

― A latch switch that turns on/off with the opening/closing of the door or liftgate.

• When the door or liftgate is open, the latch switch is on.

• When the door or liftgate is closed, the latch switch is off.

― A lock actuator that latches/unlatches the latch.

• The following parts are built into the lock and latch actuator of the driver-side door:

― Door key cylinder switch

― Door lock-link switch
