Outline

• If oil dilution occurs due to fuel infusion and the ambient temperature falls below freezing, the fuel in the engine oil will freeze. As a result, the fuel injection amount is controlled due to insufficient engine oil lubrication which leads engine burn.

Operation Conditions

• When all of the following conditions are met, the engine oil pressure does not increase even if the engine is started.

― Engine coolant temperature at engine start is −18 °C {−0.40 °F} or less

― Engine oil dilution due to fuel infusion occurs

Protection Control

• Controls engine speed to idle speed.
