Outline

• The rotation speed of the turbocharger with variable turbine geometry increases according to the increase in the exhaust gas amount introduced by the turbine. Because the exhaust gas flow amount is proportional to the fuel injection amount, the fuel injection amount is controlled to prevent damage caused by excess rotation speed of the turbocharger with variable turbine geometry.

Operation Conditions

• The rotation speed of the turbocharger with variable turbine geometry detected by the speed sensor assy (turbocharger with variable turbine geometry) exceeds the specified value.

Protection Control

• The fuel injection amount is controlled according to the rotation speed of the turbocharger with variable turbine geometry and excess rotation speed of the turbocharger with variable turbine geometry is prevented by suppressing the exhaust gas amount.
