Operation Condition

•  The PCM stops energization to the A/C relay when any of the following conditions are met:

Repeatedly turns on and off every 10 s until the engine coolant temperature is less than 107 °C {225 °F}

Repeatedly turns on and off every 10 s until the temperature in PCM is less than 107 °C {225 °F}
Improved engine reliability
Engine coolant temperature is 117 °C {243 °F} or more
Until engine coolant temperature is less than 110 °C {230 °F}
Improved engine reliability
At high engine speed
(engine speed 6,400 rpm or more)
Until engine speed decreases to less than 5,900 rpm
Improved A/C compressor reliability
When temperature in PCM is 115 °C {239 °F} or more
Until temperature is PCM decreases to less than 112 °C {234 °F}

Refrigerant pressure of 0.196 MPa {2.00 kgf/cm2, 28.4 psi} or less continues for 5 s or more
