PID/DATA Monitor Inspection

Note

•  Because the PCM temperature sensor is integrated in the PCM, replacing the PCM temperature sensor includes replacement of the PCM.

1.  Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.  Switch the ignition ON (engine off).

3.  Verify that the PCM_T PID is within the specification. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [MZR 1.6].)

•  If not within the specification, replace the PCM. (See PCM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 1.6].)
