Purpose/Function

•  The battery conditions are monitored as basic information for determining the generator output current.
•  The battery condition is send to the PCM by LIN communication via the front body control module (FBCM).

Construction

•  Installed to the negative battery cable.

•  The current sensor has adopted shunt resistance on the detection area and a thermistor for detecting the battery condition.

Operation

•  The battery charge/discharge flow, battery voltage, and the battery terminal temperature are send to the PCM by LIN communication via the front body control module (FBCM).
