• The shift solenoid A, B or C are duty-cycle type solenoids.
• A duty-cycle type solenoid adjusts the clutch pressure and brake pressure by switching ON/OFF at 50 Hz (20 ms cycle).
Solenoid OFF (Supply Port Open)
• When the solenoid is not energized, the supply port (line pressure) opens and is engaged with the output port (clutch pressure).
• As a result, hydraulic pressure is supplied to the hydraulic passage for the clutch pressure.
Solenoid ON (Supply Port Closed)
• When the solenoid is energized, the output port (clutch pressure) opens and is engaged to drain the clutch pressure.
