• The shift solenoid D or E are ON/OFF type solenoids and each function is as follows:

Shift solenoid D

• Switches the bypass valve and 3-4 shift valve
|
|
Shift solenoid E
|
• Switches the low and reverse shift valve and TCC control valve
|
Solenoid OFF (Supply Port Closed)
• When the solenoid is not energized, the output port opens and is engaged with the output port to drain the pressure.
Solenoid ON (Supply Port Open)
• When the solenoid is energized, the supply port opens and is engaged with the output port to supply the pressure.
