•  The instrument cluster sends a gear position signal to the PCM via CAN based on the signal from M position switch, up switch and down switch.

•  When the driver’s down-shift operation is cancelled, the gear position indicator flash twice to alert the driver of a down-shift cancellation.
•  If the ATF temperature reaches 130 °C {266 °F} or more while driving in manual shift mode, the gear position indicator turns off and the PCM switches to automatic shift mode to reduce load on the ATX. After the ATF temperature decreases to 120 °C {248 °F} or less and a period of time has passed, the gear position indicator turns back on and driving in manual shift mode is restored.
