HEATER HOSE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5]

L.H.D.

1.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

2.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

3.  Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

4.  Remove the nut from top side of vehicle.

5.  Tilt the insulator in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure.

6.  Remove the clips.

7.  Remove the heater hose A.

8.  Remove the heater hose B.

9.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

10.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)

R.H.D.

3.  Remove the clips.

4.  Remove the heater hose A.

5.  Remove the heater hose B.

6.  Install in the reverse order of the removal.

7.  Inspect for engine coolant leakage. (See ENGINE COOLANT LEAKAGE INSPECTION [SKYACTIV-D 1.5].)
