TEL ANTENNA

• When the TEL antenna sends vehicle position information to a call center via the mobile phone base station, it makes a voice call at the same time.

• The TEL antenna receives the signal sent from the GLONASS satellite and sends the position information to the Mazda ERA-GLONASS control module.

Note

• GLONASS (Global Navigation Satellite System) was developed by the Russian Federal Government as an object locating system using satellites. The TEL antenna receives signals from several of the satellites orbiting at an altitude of approx. 19,000 km to detect the current position of the vehicle.

• The TEL antenna is located under the center speaker grille.
