Purpose, Function

• The i-ELOOP indicator light turns on/flashes according to the i-ELOOP control status to notify the driver of the i-ELOOP control status.

Construction

• The i-ELOOP indicator light is built into the instrument cluster. (See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER.)

Operation

• The i-ELOOP indicator light illumination conditions are as follows:

i-ELOOP indicator light illumination conditions

― i-ELOOP control is in regenerative braking mode

i-ELOOP indicator light flashing conditions

― i-ELOOP control is in pre-charge mode

• The PCM sends a i-ELOOP indicator light illumination request to the instrument cluster via CAN communication.
