Function

• The MIL illuminates when a malfunction occurs in the engine control system, and it illuminates at the same time a DTC is recorded in the PCM.

• The illumination/non-illumination conditions of the MIL are determined by the number of drive cycles. (See ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM TEST MODE [SKYACTIV-G 2.0].)
