INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6]

Warning
•  A hot engine and intake air system can cause severe burns. Turn off the engine and wait until they are cool before removing the intake air system.
Note
•  If the intake shutter valve is replaced, complete the “INTAKE AIR THROTTLE VALVE LEARNED VALUES RESET”. (See INTAKE AIR THROTTLE VALVE LEARNED VALUES RESET [MZ-CD 1.6].)
•  If the MAF/IAT sensor is replaced, complete the “MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR LEARNED VALUES RESET”. (See MASS AIR FLOW SENSOR LEARNED VALUES RESET [MZ-CD 1.6].)

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6].)

3.  Remove the engine cover. (See ENGINE COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZ-CD 1.6].)

4.  Disconnect the wiring harness.

5.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

6.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
