CHARGE AIR COOLER INSPECTION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo]

1.  Remove the charge air cooler cover. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

2.  Remove the charge air cooler. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

3.  Remove the air bypass valve. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

4.  Plug ports A and B.

5.  Verify that there is no air leakage when air is sent from port C.

•  If there is leakage, replace the charge air cooler. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)
