FUEL INJECTOR INSPECTION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo]

Resistance Inspection

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

3.  Remove the fuel delivery pipe. (See FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

4.  Disconnect the fuel injector connectors.

5.  Measure the resistance of the fuel injector.

Fuel injector resistance
1.0—1.2 ohms [20 °C {68 °F}]
•  If not as specified, replace the fuel injector. (See FUEL INJECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)
