EGR VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo]

1.  Remove the battery cover. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

2.  Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See BATTERY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

3.  Disconnect the EGR valve connector.

4.  Remove the air hose and air duct. (See INTAKE-AIR SYSTEM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo])

5.  Drain the engine coolant. (See ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT [MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo].)

6.  Remove in the order indicated in the table.

1	Water hose
2	EGR valve

7.  Install in the reverse order of removal.
